Founder
Hi, my name is Jim and I’m the Founder of Dream to Product. I have been designing and manufacturing new technology products for over 18 years. My education as a Mechanical Engineer and business experience running multiple companies adds value to every project. My passion is making smart products that improve quality of life.
Facts about me:
- I started my first company in 2008 designing and manufacturing medical equipment and successfully licensed the technology.
- I passed the testing for Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- My whole family was born in Italy and I enjoy carrying on the traditions, like making wine!
DEBORAH
Manager of Business Development
Hi, my name is Deborah. I joined the Dream to Product team in winter of 2017 as the Manager of Business Development. I earned my degree at Loyola University Chicago and have over 15 years of business development experience. I previously worked in fitness, senior living education, energy conservation design and bring a unique perspective to Dream to Product.
Facts about me:
- I partnered in a design to save a school district 35% on their energy consumption.
- I previously owned my own business that helped companies make smart behavioral decisions that promote sustainability.
- I rode on a camel in the Sahara Desert in Morocco and slept in a tent overnight.
MARIO
Senior Design Engineer
Hi, my name is Mario and I am a Senior Design Engineer at Dream to Product. I have over 30 years of product design and manufacturing experience in a variety of industries. I have a Mechanical Engineering degree. I really enjoy solving engineering problems and coming up with elegant designs.
Facts about me:
- I have over 60 awarded patents in a variety of industries.
- I invented a self-brewing coffee mug for the microwave that I licensed.
- I built my own wood fired pizza oven in my back yard!
PAUL
Founder, inbox3d
Hi, my name is Paul and I am a Design Engineer at Dream to Product. In addition, I am the founder of inbox3d, a Chicago-based company that produces one of the most affordable large format printers out in the market. I partnered my company with Dream to Product to increase their high volume 3D printing capabilities.
After college I worked as an R&D Engineer developing consumer products with the side responsibility of fixing the company’s 3D printers.
Facts about me:
- I spent a good portion of my college career building robots.
